LEATHER DETAILS:
Horween Shell Cordovan (Natural, Navy, Bourbon, Dark Cognac, Armagnac)
Horween Shell Cordovan is a unique, high-quality leather made from the dense, fibrous hindquarters of horsehide, which gives it a smooth texture and lustrous finish. It is crafted through an extensive six-month process that involves vegetable tanning, hand-staining, and polishing, resulting in a leather that is exceptionally durable and resistant to stretching or creasing. Its signature glossy appearance and ability to develop a rich patina over time.
Maryam Horsebutt TPR (Natural, Overdyed Burgundy/Overdyed Black)
Maryam Horsebutt is a vegetable tanned leather from the celebrated Maryam Tannery in Tuscany, Italy, made through a slow process that uses natural tannins and time to reveal the hide’s full character. Cut from the same region used for shell cordovan, it is dense yet supple with deep color and rich texture. Each hide shows unique markings like spiderweb veining, scars, and soft honeycomb wrinkles. Finished with a TPR resin coat, it has a natural sheen that ages beautifully over time, offering cordovan level quality at nearly a third of the cost.
Gallun Teton Stag (Cinnamon, Charcoal)
Teton Stag is crafted from North American Whitetail Deer, employing a proprietary non-heavy metal tannage. This unique process enhances the naturally soft and loose qualities of deer leather by filling the fibers, resulting in a full, well-lubricated leather that can reach a thickness of up to 2.0 mm.
Gallun Rustic Horsebutt (Cognac, Black)
Rustic Horsebutt is produced through a specialized combination of adding quebracho and mimosa within the vegetable tanning process. During the coloring and re-tanning stages, it is infused with wax and oil. Subsequently, the leather is toggle dried, roll-waxed, and bright rolled to achieve a flawless luster.

SIZING GUIDANCE:
For sizing, we recommend selecting a full size down from your Brannock measurement if you have D or E width feet. If your feet are wider (EE or above), it's recommended to size down by only half a size. Please note that this last is not well suited for narrow foot widths.
In the event that your Brannock measurement falls between sizes, we advise sizing up to the nearest whole size for the best fit.
Sizing will be confirmed via measurements by email prior to build.
For additional sizing guidance, please feel free to email us at contact@caswellboots.com.
