My 7th boot from Caswell, but my first lace to toe and first boot made from Bison leather. Since I’m already familiar with Caswell lasts and fits, I knew the boot would be an excellent fit before even buying. If you’ve never worn a boot or shoe with Kevin’s Morris last, it’s a slightly longer almond shaped toe, but is a generous D to E width that gives the toes and ball of the foot plenty of room to be comfortable. Narrower in the waist and heel area, it has a very snug fit in those areas so the boot feels locked into your foot immediately, despite the roomier toe area. As for the leather, medium temper with amazing pull up that starts building patina and character almost immediately. As for build quality and craftsmanship. Top notch as always (those familiar with Caswell already know this) that can easily compete with more expensive brands. This won’t be my last Caswell product.

Fantastic boots. Excellent fit and great recommendation from Kevin! One of the most comfortable boots i own second only to my other Caswell boots, the poromac bison.
