Custom Program Restart

Hey all,

Just wanted to share a quick update on where things stand with our custom program. We’re in a better spot now and have been making steady progress getting orders out. There’s still a bit of a backlog, but we’ve got a much clearer handle on things moving forward.

After taking some time to step back and reassess, we’ve decided to shift the focus of our custom line. Going forward, single-pair MTOs won’t be the core of the program. They won’t go away completely, but they’ll be offered more selectively. Our main focus will shift toward GMTOs (group made-to-orders).

This change will help us keep pricing more consistent—especially with all the fluctuations in materials, tariffs, and overall supply chain—and give us a better handle on timelines. It also helps cut down on leather waste. With single-pair MTOs, we often get just one or two pairs from a hide/skin, which isn’t the most efficient way to work.

In short, we’ll continue offering the MTO leathers we have in stock, but once they’re gone, we won’t be restocking them for individual builds. 

We really appreciate all the support you’ve shown the custom side of the business. It’s been a huge part of what makes this fun, and we’re excited about where things are heading with a more streamlined and sustainable approach.
