THE LEATHER

Horse TPR from Maryam Tannery in Tuscany, Italy. A full-grain leather with a smooth hand and exceptional durability. Each hide carries its own natural characteristics — spider web veining, dark spots, scars, and cuts that are part of what the material is. An aniline finish keeps the natural grain visible and allows a distinct patina to develop with wear.

SIZING

The Morris last runs about a half size large compared to standard Brannock sizing — we recommend sizing down a half size. While the Morris is offered in a D width, it has a generous fit that comfortably accommodates many E-width feet.

A NOTE ON LEATHER

Leather is a natural material. Minor variation in color, surface marks, and texture are expected and contribute to the character of each pair.

CARE

Horse TPR is a smooth, firm full-grain leather. A clean cloth and horsehair brush handle most maintenance.

Cleaning: Wipe down with a damp cloth after wear. For heavier dirt, use a horsehair brush followed by a clean damp cloth. Air dry only — never use direct heat.
Conditioning: Apply a leather cream or conditioner when the leather begins to look dry or feel stiff. Frequency depends on how often you wear them and the climate you live in.
Storage: Use shoe trees between wears to help the leather hold its shape.
Sole: Wipe clean with a damp cloth as needed.
