SIZING
The Morris last runs about a half size large compared to standard Brannock sizing — we recommend sizing down a half size. While the Morris is offered in a D width, it has a generous fit that comfortably accommodates many E-width feet.

A NOTE ON LEATHER
Each boot is crafted from authentic leather, which may exhibit minor scratches, blemishes, and non-uniform coloring. These are inherent traits of the natural material and its finishing.
CARE
Aspen is a dense, firm horse leather from Horween. Its tight fiber structure makes it naturally durable and resistant to moisture.
- Cleaning: Wipe down with a damp cloth after wear. For heavier dirt, use a horsehair brush. Air dry only — never use direct heat.
- Conditioning: Apply a leather cream when the leather looks dry or feels stiff. Aspen's dense fiber structure means it needs less conditioning than softer leathers, but shouldn't be neglected entirely.
- Scratches: Light surface marks can often be buffed out with a horsehair brush.
- Storage: Use shoe trees between wears to help the leather hold its shape.

The FOXHALL is built well, material-wise, but I have found the ball of my foot and toes are not comfortable when worn more than 4 - 5 hours. I guess I would be one that would benefit from the ‘Morris Arch Support’ Last. Perhaps a little thicker leather midsole would help, too.
Like the title, I keep coming back because the quality, fit, and finish is very hard to find anywhere else in that $400-$500 range. And horse leather (from Horween no less) under $500… I don’t know anyone else doing this. And the Morris last, for my feet, is one of the absolute best. With Caswell’s leather selections, build quality, lasts that fit my feet perfectly, and offering the price range I’m comfortable in, I don’t have much reason to look elsewhere.
Caswell/Kevin hit another one out of the park with these gorgeous boots. I absolutely love the dark burgundy color of the horsefront leather, which is flexible and super comfortable out of the box with little to no break-in. These are my first Caswell boots on the Morris last, and the extra room took a little getting used to, but now with thicker socks I find them a great fit for all day wear. I wore these with a suit yesterday to church and they looked stunning. Thanks Kevin!
