Aspen is Horween's latest horse leather tannage, crafted from the front section of the horse. This leather is prized for its dense fibers and tight grain, offering a rustic aesthetic that blends smooth grain areas with natural pebbled contours.

SIZING

The Morris last runs about a half size large compared to standard Brannock sizing — we recommend sizing down a half size. While the Morris is offered in a D width, it has a generous fit that comfortably accommodates many E-width feet.

A NOTE ON LEATHER

Each boot is crafted from authentic leather, which may exhibit minor scratches, blemishes, and non-uniform coloring. These are inherent traits of the natural material and its finishing.

CARE

Aspen is a dense, firm horse leather from Horween. Its tight fiber structure makes it naturally durable and resistant to moisture.

• Cleaning: Wipe down with a damp cloth after wear. For heavier dirt, use a horsehair brush. Air dry only — never use direct heat.
• Conditioning: Apply a leather cream when the leather looks dry or feels stiff. Aspen's dense fiber structure means it needs less conditioning than softer leathers, but shouldn't be neglected entirely.
• Scratches: Light surface marks can often be buffed out with a horsehair brush.
• Storage: Use shoe trees between wears to help the leather hold its shape.
