Wilson - Brown Country Calf

Beautiful work top to bottom. The leather, the stitching, the sole, and the last. I have a few pairs of what I think of as “expensive” dress shoes (over $1k) from Edward Green and Santoni. I think I’ll stop buying expensive dress shoes. The Greens and Santonis are amazing, but you really don’t get that much more, if anything, than you get from Caswell. Shoes vs boots, sure, but in terms of build quality, finish, materials, etc. it would be hard to justify paying another $800-$900 for a really high-end brand.

Note the last on these is great but pretty narrow. I had to buy 1/2 size up.

I bought these to replace my brown grain C&J Conistons that never quite fit my feet. I don't say this lightly, but these are borderline indistinguishable from the Conistons. Looking at them side-to-side, wearing them at the same time on different feet, even the upper leather (where most shoemakers save money)... If you don't know, the C&J's are three times the price.

Suffice to say, these are an amazing value. Caswell knocked this one out of the park. Sad to see that they aren't doing a run of these right now beyond the sale. These fit great True-to-Size for a narrow-ish foot, though I may need a tongue pad since my feet are lower volume. Great price for the fit. No break-in.

High quality boots, excellent service.

I've been eyeing these boots for a while and felt the pebble grain and color were really attractive. I waited to order and finally did which was the last one in my size. The overall makeup of this boot is outstanding with a premium leather upper, perfect stitching, and the Londra sole. I have not seen a boot like this from anyone else which also makes it unique. Caswell makes boots that fit my style in that they are well-built, high-quality, and exude a rugged, classy casual. You can dress them up or down. This boot is definitely on a narrow last so take that into account. Well worth the money!

Packaging was above and beyond. True to size, beatifull leathear. I will be doing businnes agani. AS a note, its hard to start from nothing and work your way. Im still trying to work my own way. Good luck to you. I will let others know.
