Caswell Boot Co.

Shaw - Walnut Shrunken Shoulder

Shrunken shoulder is vegetable-tanned and produced through a unique tanning process where the leather is tumbled in a drum with heat and moisture. This treatment causes the fibers in the leather to contract and the grain to become more pronounced, giving it a textured appearance and a distinctive pattern.

Walnut Shrunken Shoulder ( The Shaw)

The Shaw is a nice addition to my collection. Great profile with a roomier toe box. As we’ve come to expect from Kevin, a quality build and attention to detail. The leather is unique in its texture as it resembles Bison 🦬. The boots are a warm honey color right now but I expect and hope they will darken a bit with some wear. The stitching is excellent and I find the Londra sole extremely comfortable. Caswell has yet to disappoint.

Great Boots

The Harris is my favorite and most comfortable last. The fit of the boot is superb and the aesthetics of the boot is tremendous. The shrunken shoulder by Horween is also a superb leather, so overall I love this boot.

Great Boots

Fit is snug but they will break in good, love the leather

I bought this Shaw boots in the Walnut Shrunken for my husband for Christmas and they are so much impressive in person, they smell delicious a true leather smell that I really like, they are true to size so he order his usual 11.5D and they fit well. The color is a bit orange-yellowish but I am sure they will darken a bit with time. Totally recommend them.
