Great Boot

This is my first pair of boots in Latigo leather I love the burgundy highlights in the color of the leather. I wore them for the first time and I noticed a scratch on the leather and realized how waxy the leather is so took some Obenufs grease and placed it on the scratch and it went away. This is my second pair of boots in the Harris last I also purchased a pair of shrunken shoulder these two are my favorite dress pair of boots.

Just as good as the Whiskey Shaw boots

I recently wrote a review for the Whiskey Predator and everything I said on that review goes for the Shaw-Chestnut boot. Again, had these boots had speed-hooks I would never have bought them.

I would add that I might have considered buying another style boot as well, but the heels had so little rubber that I would have end edup visiting the cobbler more often than not.

Also, I used Lexol Leather Conditioner to break in the boots. Don't waste your money on those fancy tiny jars of conditioners that cost a fortune. The Shaw Predator did get a tad darker, but it looks even better. I also use Lexol on my saddles that cost over $2K and on my A-2 USAAF horsehide jacket and the leather is now soft as butter.

You can't beat these boots for the price!!

Photos are of Shaw Whiskey and Shaw Chestnut after less then a month of breaking-in.
