SIZING GUIDANCE:

The Morris last is designed to match the Brannock sizing system accurately. If your Brannock measurement corresponds to a US size 11.5, we recommend selecting the same size, 11.5, for the Morris last.

In the event that your Brannock measurement falls between sizes, we advise sizing up to the nearest whole size for the best fit.

Please note that our sizing is the same across all lasts. If your current size is a 11.5 in the Wayne last, please select a size 11.5 in the Morris last.

For additional sizing guidance, please feel free to email us at contact@caswellboots.com.

LEATHER DISCLAIMER:

Each boot is handmade and crafted from authentic leather, which may exhibit minor scratches, blemishes, and non-uniform coloring. These are inherent traits of the natural material and its finishing.

A real Underdog boot

These boots are really good. The leather from Gallun is an experimental one, an off shoot of their Viking calf with more oils and waxes as well as a natural color among other details. The morris last is great and fits well true to brannock. It has a tight heel cup and a normal instep and volume. The waist hugs your foot nicely and opens up at the ball with space allocated for your pinky toe. The unstructured toe hugs your toes which at first can be jarring but adds a lot to comfort when walking, no need to maneuver your steps to compensate for a toe box. I found no QC issues, no loose threads, great clicking, a solid build all around. The shaft hugs your ankles nicely and I can tell this leather will be very dynamic as it ages. The handwelted construction as usual is flawless. No loose threads, straight lines, thick stitching, neat and organized and you can’t go wrong with a 270 welt. Only critique I have is the eyelets, which are fine but I would’ve preferred a 5 eyelet 3 speedhooks combo over a 4 and 3.

The break in is essentially non existent. The way caswells handwelted line is made is sturdy but designed to be comfortable underfoot. There is plenty of flexibility in the midsole unlike other brands and the leather is stiff but forgiving in the right places. The shaft is secure and sturdy on my f
Ankles while the vamp is soft and flexible. The creasing is fantastic and the leather texture is quite unique.

Definitely check them out, a rare opportunity for some handwelted boots that are ready to wear with no lead time for build.

Great boots!

Fit well out of the box, I can tell there will be little to no break in. Caswell has really nice leather. Another geat purchase for me from these guys!
