Carver II - Chestnut Oiled Latigo

Got my boots shipped super quick, even deployed overseas. The quality is exceptional and the fit is amazing. I prefer fitting directly to the brannock and my 10D feet are loving this 10E last, the heel lock is still great even with the extra width. I have a bone spur on my instep which makes most boots very painful however this LTT pattern causes no discomfort right out of the box (that’s an absolute first for me out of the many brands I’ve tried). The leather is no joke, very stiff but that’s what you expect out of a high quality Latigo. The only small gripe I would have is that the color is more red in person, almost between a brown and a color 8 but that seems to change with patina according to another boot on the Patina Project App. Still looks amazing and works with my selection. The ridgeway sole is slightly brown, not totally black but actually blends in better with the heelstacks and midsole. Another very satisfied customer who will be returning as this brand continues to grow and make an amazing, competitively priced product.

I could not be happier with my oiled Latigo Carver boots. The leather is beautiful. They are heavy and robust, with a deep pull-up effect. Over time, they are sure to develop an amazing patina. The detail is top-notch--the stitching is clean and accurate.

Unlike the picture, my boots have Vibram's version of the Ridgeway-style sole rather than a Dainite sole, which makes me very happy because I prefer the Ridgeway style.
